God is Never Surprised!

Life Can Be Funny....

Everything seems to be running smoothly! The family is busy, each one with their different ambitions, various work duties, hobbies. One day runs into the next...the schedule pretty well creates the movement of the day, week, and even the month.

The Unthinkable....

All of a sudden, or at least it seems that way, an interruption invades your schedule, your time, your life! It happened unexpectedly or were you just too busy to see the signs. Never the less you did not see it coming! It could be anything from a job loss, a relationship broken, a health issue, a phone call from the police concerning your child....the list goes on. The smooth-running schedule is shattered as you scramble to make sense of the situation, yet no matter how hard you try, "why" is all you can think of, "why" this and "why" now.

God is NEVER Surprised...

You may have been taken off guard but as a child of God, be encouraged that this invasion to your life has NOT taken God by surprise.

Psalm 121 is an encouraging truth that you can stand on. Read it before you sleep tonight! Put your trust in our Almighty God...He is forever faithful!

I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from theLord who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble, the one who watches over you will not slumber, indeed, He who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
